Pulling a classic War of the League of Cambrai maneuver there.

For context, in 1508, the Pope wanted to curb Venice's power, so he joined an alliance with France, Ferrara, Spain, and the HRE and waged war on Venice. The King of France got on the Pope's nerves so much that the Pope switched sides to join Venice. Then, the Pope got on the Doge of Venice's nerves so much that Venice switched sides to join with France. By the end of the eight year war, everyone but France and Ferrara switched sides at least once or left entirely (to say nothing of the powers that joined halfway through). The war concluded with everyone agreeing to go back to how things were before the war.

Honestly if you cooprrate with a sword-for-hire adventurer player every war is winnable. The amount of advantage you can accumulate is insane.
Within the rules, me(a noob), has like +70 advantage after a few years of adventuring. It is insane
