Kartik Raman: Journey with IndianRaga 2017 to 2019

Our Fellow Kartik Raman is an Independent Composer Singer who joined the very first IndianRaga Fellowship India Edition in 2017. He has composed, produced and sung in over 20 IndianRaga productions.

Kartik Raman's unique style of singing and presenting Hindustani Classical Music in modern avatar came through as the 1st release of India Edition of IndianRaga fellowship in the form of his composition "Jao Jao". His journey with IndianRaga from 2017 to 2019 has been a vast exploration of Indian Classical Music in various avatars. Starting from his version of the Carnatic Song "Bho Shambho" to an unplugged version of Lata Mangeshkar ji's Bhajan "Mhara Re Giridhar Gopal" to a totally new take on Hindustani Tarana "Yaman Tarana Revisited" to a peppy fusion on Traditional Carnatic Thillana and Hindustani Tarana "Brindavani Thillana" to a pure Abhang "Abeer Gulaal". Kartik has been exploring various aspects of Indian Classical Music and presenting it to our audiences in a new avatar through IndianRaga Productions.

Kartik loves performing live and so do we at IndianRaga. He has been a part of major Indian Live shows done by IndianRaga starting from the Prestigious TedX Chennai performance, Facebook Live series at the Facebook headquarters in Hyderabad India, INS Shivaji (Lonavala) are a few to name.
