During cross-examination, Robert Telles was asked about why he thought he was framed for murder. Prosecutor Christopher Hamner went through a list of possible people who may have allegedly framed him and Telles confirmed or denied why they would be likely to frame him. Telles repeatedly said in his testimony that he was framed and he is innocent.

Robert Telles is accused of murdering Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. After German had written several articles about Telles, a public administrator at the time, he was found stabbed to death outside his home in September 2022. Prosecutors claim Telles’ DNA was found under German’s fingernails. Telles has pleaded not guilty and says he was framed for the murder.

My prediction for Jury deliberation: 60 minutes; 5 minutes to determine he's guilty and 55 minutes discussing the Las Vegas Raiders decision to start the season with Gardner Minshew at QB.

I like that he's taking notes, as though he has follow-up questions 😂

Total shades of Anthony Todt, right down to some of the delivery of the answers. Guilty as f*ck.

That's the best frame job I've ever seen! I mean they thought of everything, even DNA.

Uhuh, and if this group wanted to frame him to get him out of the way (but not kill him even though they were apparently willing to commit murder), why didn't they frame him with something a little less severe? Maybe plant a kilo of coke in his car? Why murder? His explanation is absurd.

An FBI profiler was brought on for this investigation. Apparently when he went to visit Telles’s house, a patrol officer overheard him say “this place is probably gonna be pretty j!zzed out.”
