....

You and the villain sat amongst the grass, admiring the night in it's moment. Your knees were brought close to your chest and the villain was leaning against their back, enjoying the night breeze trickle through strands of their hair. Their face was calm and relaxed while yours was troubled, you were confused and in need of answers, and they didn't take long to notice.

Their gaze shifts on you and they shuffle closer. They sneak an arm over your shoulder and brought you close. "What's wrong old friend?" They asked softly and you maneuver you eyes away from them. The hand on your shoulder gently squeezes, urging you talk. You notice and your eyes make their way back to the villain's, it's soft and friendly, unlike the one you both always had when you were playing the roles hero and villain.

Outside of what you were both known for, you were friends, the best even, and this moment were one of many you shared. You sighed, momentarily closing your eyes before staring at them through your eyelashes. "How long... will we pretend... like were the people who hate each other..? I'm sick of hurting you every time for just cheers." Their eyes soften, pity in embedded on their gaze. A frown slowly appears on their lips and pull you closer, leaning on your head with their cheek, embracing you.

"In due time, when they're ready for the truth." They reassure but you sigh off the last off your anger.

"I don't wanna hurt you anymore."
