Why Does Letitia James Believe She's Above the Law?

No one is above the law, that's what Letitia James has claimed on multiple occasions. But now it appears that she may not have lived by those words. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses some very disturbing, and well documented allegations from the Federal Housing Finance Agency which claims that Ms. James has executed fradulent documents, on multiple occasions, in order to obtain favorable, government backed loans. i have been a Pennsylvania Attorney for some 30 years most of which was in the area of criminal defense and general civil practice. i have looked to Letitia James documents as well as New York law. Another "interesting" legal issue that I see is that in August of 2023 just before James started prosecuting Donald Trump in the Manhattan civil fraud trial, she purchased the property in Virginia. It was this property that she stated was her "primary residence." However, New York has a statute requiring that the Attorney General be a "resident of New York" and a separate statute states that if a "public official" has a state residency requirement for their job, if they fail to maintain that NY residency, they must resign from their NY state position. so the problem for Janes over the Virginia property is this: if she claims she "intended" to be a Virginia resident so as to avoid prosecution for mortgage fraud, she was required "under NY law" to have resigned her AG position. but James prosecuted Trump AS the "NY Attorney General" AFTER she purchased the Virginia property. She can't inhabit two different legal universes. if she was a Virginia resident, she had to resign as NY AG BEFORE the Trump trial. as a "Virginia resident" she could NOT act as NY AG prosecuting Trump. That means she was not "legally" the NY AG AT THE TIME OF THE TRUMP TRIAL! Conversely, if she WAS still the NY AG during the Trump trial, she was NOT a "Virginia resident." James is in a legal corner that she cannot escape from. Her prosecution may also mean that Trump's entire trial is legally corrupted demanding the trial and verdict be thrown out.
