I was super disappointed by this book too. I got so bored with it I didn't even finish it, and I had read Gardens of the Moon and Deadhouse Gates. But this book meandered around with no real story. I didn't like or care about Kiska.

looking forward to your next erikson review, i agree that this book felt really rushed, i did not feel like i had wasted part of my life reading it but it wasnt up to par  with what i was used too
