I think a huge reason for this group's success was having members with prior idol experience. Not just because of the built in fanbase they brought with them. But due to that experience they can create a healthy environment for the new members. Make sure they're not taken advantage of or abused. And in turn the newer members can return some of that innocence and excitement to the experienced members about performing.

I'm not saying it will always work this way. But in Le Sserafim's case it really seems to be true.
