Corbin was a fantastic heel. Booking is what ended up slowing him down to the point where he couldn’t get back up the card. Sad/Happy Corbin will be my fav characters he played.

Baron Corbin is my absolute favorite wrestler of all time, since I started watching he was my favorite. My 3 favorite matches of his are TLC 2019 vs Roman reigns, Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler vs AJ styles WWE championship match, and the men’s 5 on 5 on 5 survivor series match in 2019

I was all in on Corbin since NXT...and im sad they chose to let him go. Anything they threw at him he made it work.

Corbin was a solid midcarder and the company had unrealistic expectations of him. Trying to force him into the main event with him being Mr. Money in the bank, retiring Kurt Angle, feuding with Roman Reigns and being the authority figure was setting him up for failure. He was never going to be the next face of the company and them booking him so prominently when he wasn't over only hurt him.

Broke Baron Corbin was the second best version behind The Lone Wolf, King and Constable Corbin were the worst version of him, and Happy Corbin wasn't terrible but it happened too soon. Also JBL managing Baron Corbin was a good idea that ended too soon.

Heels are supposed to be people we'd love to hate, not dismissed, and we dismissed Corbin a lot because of the forced and sad booking decisions, him losing his cash-in for me caused the whole domino effect and he never managed to recover from that blunder.
