Just came back from NW Wisconsin where the temps dipped into the low single digits and my illusion deer call would freeze up every time after use. Like the video recommended; you can slide the adjuster up and down to break loose the freeze buildup.

Another thing that will help to break loose the freeze lock is to blow hot air into the call while moving the adjuster up and down. Also, use your call and put it in your pocket with a few hand warmers too. That will help keep the tube from freezing up.

Love my old one, but just got a new one for my grandson and it fell apart and something is missing, I think a rubber washer might have broken. I messaged the place I got it from and hopefully they'll take care of it.
