Note the short cable pieces on the wiring harness. These cane be left in place on the X and Y stepper motors to make it easy to swap the cabling between 3D printing and the laser unit.
I have the 1.6 watt laser module, which came as a package deal with the Ender-3 S1 Pro. Due to the different extruder on the Pro, you need to remove the extruder head to fit the laser bracket.

Is the standard (glass) print bed also suitable when cutting something?

In this video you only demonstrated _engraving_ a piece of wood, whereby the laser beam of course never hits the print bed. However, if you use the laser to _cut_ a piece of wood, the laser beam will hit the print bed once it has cut through the wood succesfully.

Can the standard print bed handle this, or will you end up accidentally "engraving" your print bed as well?
