These teardowns are very informative. There are plenty of people reviewing products but getting an inside look and find out the workmanship and what battery cells are actually there does two things that everyone can appreciate: 1. Validates what the manufacturer said it had (or doesn't have), and 2. Gives potential buyer confidence in knowing exactly what they are getting. Great job!

Thanks for showing me how to open my unit . I actually repaired it when I saw what was the matter inside. Gratitude sent from Wiconisco Township Pennsylvania.

Awesome teardown! I wish EcoFlow would make these batteries more easily replaceable. Not something to slot in and out, but just something that wouldn't require complete disassembly and soldering to replace when the batteries wear out.

I purchased the River Pro and Extra Battery. Thank You !! i feel much better about my setup now.
Being able to see inside construction set my mind at ease. i saw Quality manufacturing. And answered my thinking about expanding my system with making my own extra ‘Extra Battery’ 🤣🤣

Thanks Again, Great Video! Straight forward presentation, chock FULL of info ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

OUTSTANDING!!!...I received the extra battery for the river pro. Once charged...I turned all units off and disconnected them. . For some reason the extra battery will not shutoff. I contacted Ecoflo and they will be sending me a replacement unit. BUT...I have the "defective" unit. I'm disectting it to see if I can reset it so the continuous blinking light on the extra unit will stop.

Hi, very informative. Thanks. My river Pro's USB ports have stopped charging, and the 'Overload' and USB indicator are constantly flashing. I couldn't really see during the teardown, but are there some fuses that could have blown causing my issue?

Lovely video, thank you. I tore down my River pro when the overload signal won't go off. While I was coupling it back, connecting the battery to the board damaged the BMS after that spark. Like the type you saw. You are lucky the unit is still fine after coupling it.

Great job you just earned a new 62 year old female subscriber who is transfixed by your tear downs! I’m on the fence whether to buy this or bluetti’s eb70s power station. Would prefer eb70s yet in many reviews it’s getting accused of having a smaller inverter than advertised yet it’s all just hearsay without a teardown. Please, please, please do a teardown of the eb70s next. Thank you, thank you, thank you!🌻🌺🌻

Great teardown... I'm impressed with the internal design...no space wasted.
I was slightly concerned when the capacitor sparked... you didn't even flinch....:)
Pity it's not LiFePO.

EcoFlow has come to be one of the top 3 solar gens in the River series.
The Delta is also a great machine…

Really helpful thanks, I don't suppose you happened to make a note of which LCD screen the unit uses did you? Thanks!

Absolutely love your videos, i have seen other youtubers doing simalar stuff of course but you make it easy to watch and understand a bit better. I would like to let you know im making one of your 3.5kw batteries you made last year, the craftsman toolbox one. I am spending a bit more but it will be a good first build for me and a useful one.

Your presentations are enlightening! I have matched the River Pro with two Renogy 100W panels. Coming from a totally different perspective, I find confidence in your commentary. A decade ago I dreamed of powering the DC needs of my office with a couple of batteries and a box full of pigtails. For reasonable money, this River Pro *is* that box. Nothing is perfect, but I think this power station is great technology for the $$... and leaves me with options should I need more battery or care to avoid a power outage. I think it's better than most would suspect. Wouldn't you agree?
