The Incredible Story of the Milky Way [4K]

On the darkest of nights, free from the glow of the moon and the haze of light pollution, a stunning, striking formation can be seen imprinted upon the sky. That imprint is our galaxy- the Milky Way. Our galaxy is a giant, which extends for hundreds of thousands of light years. But by measuring the motions and velocities of the stars in our neighbourhood, both their past and future trajectories can be extrapolated- revealing the history of the Milky Way.

My second donation for this channel. Nobody deserves it more than you in this field of content. Exceptional quality and narrating. Thank you SEA. I look forward to the next.

This channel is just incredible. It tops any major service that attempts to cover ANY of these topics. Well produced in every single way and freely given to anyone with the Internet. I honestly can’t imagine a more righteous pursuit. Thanks for everything, SEA.

I've been stuck for a week now on an ICU bed. I've been listening to SEA's videos every moment I'm awake. So glad to have a new one to listen to!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You're one of the most educational YouTube channels out there and deliver TV documentary grade videos time after time again - for free. Thank you, we love your work

Ok, here is my issue. These shows are so well narrated and backgrounded with music and notes and graphics, that I end up having to watch them twice because I only last a few minutes on the first attempt before I drift off to nappy world. Keep up the wonderful work, continue to amaze me.

I can always wait for a new video.

I, like most people, can't believe this is free. You are crushing it.

We (all life) are all just an amazing cosmic coincidence flying through a speck of dust through the cosmos, bound by the laws of our universe.

I regularly rewatch so many of your videos and ASTRUM to remind myself that we're all so small and we're all in this together.

That brings empathy.

I hope everyone finds your channel and can realize that people aren't against "you, " they're just for themselves in this rat race for survival...

I have to say SEA has been one of the most solid channels I've discovered and keep coming back to on all of Youtube. The Sleeping Space playlist has helped my sleep issues out immensely, listening and watching your videos have been a massive help and inspiration to me. Thank you for the hard work.

This is just ASMR for people who just have to learn things, the soothing visuals, the calm narration. It’s great!

I’ve probably played every one of your videos twice by now. Thank you for your research and all the work you’ve put into the channel.

Yet another masterpiece from SEA. The chill atmosphere in on this channel makes me sleepy and it calms me down as well, because- well, it's SPACE! It may be one of the *harshest* environments to be, but it's still so pretty and calming to look at. Nothing bad will happen to us on a Universal Scale for billions of years, so it's nice every once in a while to sit back, and just watch the stars do their thing. And if one happens to explode, so be it. That just means that more stars and possibly planets will form from that gas cloud. Great video, lad. Loved every second of it. <3

I love your channel so much SEA. You help me unwind and sleep most evenings. Space has always been fascinating to me and your channel is a way to enjoy my interest in a perfectly calming way. My BF was skeptical of playing a YouTube video at first, but he has asked me if I’m going to play a SEA video when we’re settling in to sleep.

Your astronomy videos are the best. Both awe inspiring and educational. I love that you know the topic and there is no gibberish. Everything is just perfectly done.

This channel is so underrated! Its frustrating how these so called BIG astrology channels out there have to rely on click-bait and cheap titles but still have tens of millions of subscribers and views while someone like SEA who really does deserve all of that with this kind of quality does not... YET. Amazing content man, keep it up.

Besides everything the others have said, I really appreciate that you never break immersion by putting sponsors in these videos, even though you surely could. I hope this contribution can help a bit towards keep it that way.
