Passed my driving today first time with only 2 minors. Thank you so much for your videos definitely helped me. For anyone preparing for their test don’t worry too much, it’s not that bad. The 2 minors I got were I drove forward after my parallel parking because I was too far from the curb, and the second one was I turned left on a mini roundabout when he said go straight. Don’t stress too much if you haven’t got your parking nailed down because I still passed even though I didn’t do it right. The most important thing is be alert, check your mirrors all the time and move your head when you check mirrors too. Good luck

Been watching this channel for ages and after my first driving lesson today it's already helped.

Somehow managed to go from cockpit controls, to driving around an empty car park to get used to steering, to going over a few roundabouts then driving back home in the middle of a busy city center (which the instructor said he'd normally only allow on a third lesson)....mental

What do you do in a car without a manual handbrake? I had this issue on a lesson, used footbrake for a second and then sat on the biting point and GO! instructor said it would have failed me had I done it on test. So now, foot brakes, put it neutral, have a good look before moving into first? Putting it in neutral makes it clear to the examiner that you've actually stopped I suppose 🤷‍♀️

Interesting, in this situation I would've simply used a brake to stop. Then get the clutch to the biting point so I don't roll back while holding the brake, release the brake and add gas. But I guess it really depends on the car, some cars will stall if you don't add gas.

The vehicle I drive has an electronic handbrake that requires you to depress the brake pedal to release. It also has an auto hold feature that essentially enables the handbrake when stationary, Allowing you to remove your foot from the foot brake and it automatically releases as you move off. Can this be used on a driving test?
