I have going banana ! They are so easy to grow. Just dig a hole, put them down and done. The plant keep coming Back every year and blooming through out the Summer long!

coastal ...2 miles from the ocean and 300 yards from San Diego bay, , my pink hibiscus blooms all year long...in fact this last winter it bloomed better mid winter than it did all summer...we have a drought right now... I water my garden once a week except when it rarely rains...only six inches of rain so far this winter monsoon season...10 inch of rain is normal here... I have been eating my tangelos from my one tree since mid november

the longest blooming perennial I've planted is a geranium called Rossanne . it blooms here in Canada from June till November if you can believe it

Try Coreopsis "Moonbeam". keeps going, drought proof and a very pretty flower.

AFRICAN DAISIES, lovely shades of orange and Brown and flower all summer. Even now it is May and way into autumn here in New Zealand up north and still blooming away. Day lies have died! Nerines are starting to bloom!

I bought 2 daisy may and only bloomed once, after I dead head them, it did not bloom after that.

I’ve rescued many dead looking plants from nursery dumpsters. If it’s alive, it will survive. Of course paying $ for something that looks bad isn’t fun
