What I wanted was the Snake men’s own Greyskull or Snake Mountain sized playset, this isn’t it. This feels like they had to upscale it so they could ask for a Eternia price. There’s only one Eternia in MOTU, just like Gi Joe has the USS Flagg. I fear this is going to be like the Super 7 Cobra Mothership.

Hope fright zone and slime pit can be retail and smaller. Hoping it's just not a huge crowd funding situation like eternia and snake lair. It's going to have to be a pass for me due to space. And likely price. Can't do more than $100 on a play set now.

This Snake Lair isn’t what was up for the vote. I agree with others comparing it to an Imaginext set. It takes up about as much space as Eternia, and will be quite expensive. It’s not going to get funded in its current form and likely price.

She-ra looks incredible. They really needed to nail the head sculpt and they absolutely did. I also really like the Snake Lair, it has more going on than Eternia but you can already tell it's going to be expensive and I'm not feeling the Snake Men like that. No matter how hard Mattel pushes them. Thanks for the coverage!

I think what they gave us although not what was in the pictures is exactly what you said jay, swinging for the fences. This is the type of thing that they need to do in order to move the brand forward. Perhaps once the initial shock wears off and people get used to what they're seeing here they will want to fund it. Although I worry that the lack of nostalgia factor may scuttle it.

Personally it’s a pass unless the price is good, which given the size, is doubtful. I hoped it would be gs / sm sized. Each faction deserves their own ‘castle’ but this is so big.. lore wise, why would the snake men ever want to recapture snake mountain (the thing that’s suppose to be their home) when they have a home of this magnitude?! No price yet probably means Mattel are gauging the price from feedback of the fans. They need to keep it around £200 imo.

i'm thrilled to see Modulok But I don't understand why the"Y" joints are so bulky. It holds his heads a full head size above his shoulders. If anything, shouldn't these connectors be *less* obtrusive than when we were kids?

I think the snake liar looks fun. I’m good with the changes. People are being a little over dramatic about it, I think but I do understand the shock of how much it deviated from the concept art. Far as the rest goes…..I say BRING ON THE POP!

I didnt see a Rattler figure in that Snake Playset display. That was very disappointing. He is my favorite Snake Man.

19:40 the Amazon exclusivity of Origins Modulok is kind of weird. It contradicts the statements from SDCC 2023 and Mattel Creations Revealed 2024 that all remaining Vintage Origins characters will be Mattel Creations exclusives. This is also kind of an issue for international collectors, because it‘s not clear if and how Modulok will then be available internationally. On Mattel Creations this was no issue (at least for Europe, I know South America is still not able to buy there 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️). But we will see, Spring 2025 is still a little bit away.

There are some great figures incoming in all MotU lines but man I am pissed at the fact that Masterverse Panthor and Horde Trooper are damn Creations exclusives... 🤬😡 As a collector that lives outside of US, not only I will have to pay the ebay tax, Panthor will cost at least $50, , if not more, just to get it shipped to my country... 🤬🤬🤬
