X4: Foundations - Getting Started Trading Tutorial

After falling in love years and years ago with X3 can say I have immediately purchased X4 on the back of your first impressions video; certainly not disappointed. Keep up the videos and the good work. This X4 game surely is a foundation (a great one) for many great mods, expansions and additions that will now surely follow over the coming years.

Really good video. Thanks a bunch. Please cover the weapons of X4 Foundations as well. Looking at the weapons you can’t tell what weapons do what to an enemy ship in terms of damage. In previous X games each weapon would display in the information section how much damage it did to shields or hulls. This game only show how much power or MW it uses to fire in the encyclopedia. Unless I’m missing something I’m a bit confused. Price and class like MK1 and MK2 are partially descriptive but.... you get my meaning. Thanks much. Loving this game.

The display reminds me of the Colditz game board from the early 70's with its hexagon sections

What is the significance of the hexagons next to each good on the map screen? 1:38
Is that distance or an indication of the profit, something else? A 2 hex good vs a 3 hex good indicates what?

Something i just found out, in the trading menu where the slider only goes to 5, you can manually type 10 (or 25) or what ever and you will see that many sale/purchase offers

Mine isn't showing auto trade for my Hermes. I pretty much loaded it out too.
