I own both the jbl clip4 and go3 and yesterday I bought the XB100 and i gotta say you're right. The XB100 sounds better. Extra bass 💪🏾

Thanks for the video. I bought the orange Sony yesterday. Before purchasing here in Australia, the store had a 15% off speakers. I noticed that the previous model was right beside the new XB100 at AUD 69. I saw that the new ones were sticker priced the same. I asked a staff there if they're both priced the same. She said it was a mistake and it should've been $84 for the current model. She kindly sold it to me for $69. Yay! That's 46 USD. Awesome, and great sound. Cheers

Was actually waiting for around 65 - 80% & finally 100% volume tests between them, but at 50%, Sony is the clear winner in both clarity & bass & even on versatile carry along situations

Very informative review. I like how you test them man. I had the same issue with the clip 4.. it used to be my go to when I go for outdoor activities and had it for couple of years but the rubber strips are just bad quality.. just bought the xb100 yesterday and been testing it since last night comparing it with my jbl clip 4 and the xb100 is on another level. I was surpeised given the fact that the best portable speaker for me was the clip 4 and now it is not.😆

I just bought Sony srs xb100. It's really a king in Bluetooth small speaker with big bass

I have a Raleigh bag on my bikes handlebars with a spot on top to attach carabiners/clips and the Clip4 hooks on and sits there like it was all designed to be that way. It's a perfect cruising speaker for long rides.

I went to best buy today to try these speakers out, and the Sony even sounded better than the Jbl flip 5 which was what i originally intended to buy. The funny thing is the little Sony XB100 sounds better than the Sony SRS-XE200 which was my second choice. I'll be buying the XB100 in a couple days when I get paid.

Have both clip 4 and xb100, sony has better bass, wider sound, it can start distort very fast, jbl you can push more, but still would choose xb100

I've had various JBL speakers and they all had a battery issue. Extreme, Flip, 9.1 soundbar. They tend to fail after a couple of years or so. JBL cheaps out on the battery cells they use. There is a reason you can find so many JBL speaker replacement batteries online. Moving to all Sony products now and all worked great and no issues. Just go the XB100. Great sound for the size. Sony FTW. JBL's are great sounding...when their batteries last.

Out of all the JBL go 3 videos. I haven't seen anybody recognize that the back pad on the device itself is slick because it's not meant to grip surfaces like tables or floors. It's meant to be put in the sand and the back of that since it's not grippy vibrates the sand in a way that it releases a pattern. I seen this on a infomercial for the JBL go 3. I think it was for India

That's what happened with the JBL charge 4 got beat by the sony xb33 then came back with the charge 5 so I hope they do the same thing for theses speakers

I’d love to get a pair but the price for such a little speaker is a hard pill to swallow lol I e seen Tronsmart just released their new mini speakers and look alright so i might try those. Thanks for the video bro !!
