I'm convinced he's not the one for this job. Our defense has been declining ( I don't care about who we lost in fa or who is injured) and that's supposed to be his specialty. His demeanor in these press conferences doesn't help either. This guy makes Jim Haslett look like Hank Stram. No real insight or confidence shown, just generic word salad. That would work if he had a proven track record. Despite all this we still have a shot at the division. Hoping for the best.

Long gone are the days of Jim Mora. When the Saints were bad, he would address it to the press directly and hold nothing back. He chewed the players asses out afterward as well. Sean Payton was a little different, but disciplinary nonetheless. DA is like "I feel this. I feel like that." "We have some room for improvement". "We need to make better decisions." Blah blah blah. Allen instills no confidence to many fans. I think we just want him to reassure he's got it under control, because it certainly doesn't look like the locker room respects him. They may like him, but not respect him.
