Raw Power vs Hax in Dragon Ball

There's a popular meme jokingly saying that Goku (and other Dragon Ball characters) can overcome any hax abilities with raw power. Is that really the case though? Let's be the No Fun Police and overanalyze a meme!

What personally annoys me is Majin Vegeta breaking free of Babidi's control being presented as "raw strength overcoming hax". As if "person with extreme willpower uses it to resist mind control" isn't like one of the most common things that happens in a story with mind control in it.

Another example of hax in dragon ball is in OG Dragon Ball with the Rabbit that Goku sends to the moon. Yeah it's a bit of a joke and gag, but it still happened, and I don't remember anyone overpowering the carrot touch lol

In the Dragon Ball series, there seems to be a good amount of consistency with power and different systems. Like there are at least 3 different power systems that I can identify - Ki, Magic, and Biology/Technology. Each with it's own strengths, weaknesses, and training. It is actually really interesting and fun to think about.

When I think of that meme, I more feel like it means Goku will eventually figure out how to beat you by just beating you up a ton. Even if you have these very specialized and unique abilities, Goku will just punch you, or blow you up with a Kamehameha. Although, some people do take it far too seriously 😂

It’s still absurd that Jiren breaking free of hit’s time cage was explained as him being stronger than the concept of time itself. I really don’t know how you’re meant to quantify that, but an angel directly said that so as far as we know, that’s fact.

So, to simplify it, "Hax" abilities require power at the end of the day. So, technically the "Hax" is just another technique which requires energy. So, these "hax" aren't even "hax" but more so just refined techniques like kekkei genkai or something.

I'd say Zamasu's immortality was technically overcome in a way. Sure his soul still remained but they managed to completely destroy his body which infinitely regenerated due to his immortality.

The hakai thing always confused me and made me respect the whole use of God Ki and all it's connected with even less than I already did. Why introduce an ability that can completely destroy someone out of existence, only to have the main cast (just Goku and Vegeta at this point) be able to completely overpower and even reflect it?
