This was so hard but so much fun! I take these steps with me everywhere now with any dynamic moves and have been able to do more shortly after this video 🥺🥺! Thank you so much for your help 😭😭

Very nice for a first Dyno, Sophia! What helped me immensely is planning out when to start pushing with my feet. If one feet is lower on the wall, I will push more with that leg when initiating the dyno and then, going through the movement, engage the other leg as well - I always think of it as a two-step rocket. I feel because the second leg just started firing off, and my hip is already coming in to the wall, I am getting a lot more drive upwards for high dynos

SO much thanks to you two, especially Sophia! I always see guys doing dynos at the gym and automatically rule them out for myself but seeing Sophia doing it made me really want to do it, so as of yesterday, I did my first dyno and hope to do more in the future :)

Congrats Sophia for your first dyno! Excited to see that because I’m like you, don’t like dyno moves🤣 I’ll try more often from now on to get used to it!

Hey Waldo. Just wanted to say thank you! I JUST started indoor bouldering. I’m going 2-3x per week. I got the climbing bug man! On day one my forearms were so pumped I could barely drive home. I only lasted about 20 minutes. As of Friday I climbed for 90 minutes straight. I successfully sent over 15 climbs ranging from V0 to V3. It’s all thanks to you! My wife climbs with me. She was like how the hell did you change so fast. Your vids brother!
Feet first
Silent feet
Stay low on your holds
Long arms
Know your move and commit
Keep your hips close to the wall
Weight shift over your foot and drive with steady even pressure as you stand up
Game changing techniques!!!!
I love climbing. I can’t wait to see what I can achieve with a consistent steady year of practice. Thank you. Thank you.

I just did my first dyno today was very similar to this one what an amazing feeling.

Yeees, congrats Sophia! As a shortie (158cm tall) sometimes i don't reach out for some holds, so I have to push myself and use dyno moves more often than my mates. It's frustrating, but very satisfying at the same time 😂😂

“It’s easy for them because they do it a lot” THIS 100%!!! I’m guilty of spending HOURS on dynos when I first started climbing so I learned how to do them really quickly LOL!!

Congrats! Sophia. Learning new skills is always a fun process - like you said “practice practice”. Look forward to seeing it in your videos and maybe outdoors - ha ha ha.

Super helpful and congrats to sophia for doing her first dyno!!! I'm in the exact same boat where I've been climbing for around 1.5 years and still have not successfully completed one ;-;
Will be using the tips in the video to hopefully get one soon though! I will say I personally struggle the most with catching the hold. I can literally shove my whole hand in a hold but I can never catch it lol
