US Air Force Globemaster departs Northolt for Ramstein. Runway 25 was in use at the time but for reasons unknown to me, this took off on Runway 07 with a slight tailwind which would probably explain the shallow climb out compared to other C-17 takeoffs from here.

Also seen at the end is one of the RAF's new Envoy aircraft returning.

I am so lucky to Live In Abingdon, Oxfordshire in England and the C17 Always flies over my house and lands in the RAF bases close by, so so lucky :) It is a beautiful aircraft.

What’s amazing about this aircraft is it can land and take off at my local municipal airport, right along with the Cessnas 😂 truly a miracle of aviation engineering.

Being in the Royal Air Force, we see these all the time and you never get bored watching them land and take off, go and watch the B52s take off and land, now they are impressive

I guess the Russian version would be the Illusion il 76 TD, the td must stand for turbodiesel because the amount of black smoke out the engine is fantastic 😎

The Glodmaster transported our late Queens coffin to London when she died. The RAF also use them, but its an American plane. So I like to think that the Americans played a part in her procession.
