I think they're just trying to share the way THEY make their tres Leche cake- everyone makes their's differently, there's no right or wrong way, if a piece of this cake showed up in front of me- I'd deffff eat it ❤ and ALL the milk is already processed so no need to heat it or we'd all be sick-

Soaks in evenly??? You need to let it rest overnight anyway. You can just dump it in there without the holes
