Mine fell out too but I didn’t realise until the front axle went up so high that it pinched the transmission cooler lines and spat hot fluid everywhere!

If you turn your wheels to the far right or left depending on which side your working on it gives you much more room to work in. Then you can 2x4 and crow bar the bump stop right on in. No WD-40 needed. They will just boink into place.

I was able to do this repair on a Jeep parked on level ground with both wheels straight forward. 1) compress the bump stop slightly with a wood clamp, 2) remove from clamp and apply silicone vacuum grease to the sides that were compressed, 3) ASAP squeeze the bump stop through the coil - takes a little effort but the compression and the grease both help, 4) press from bottom until it snaps into place. The entire job was over in 5 minutes. Will silicone vacuum grease help preserve or damage the part is left to be determined. I suspect it will help, not hurt. But this was so easy, if it needs to be replaced more often, so be it.

My tires have rubbed for months since my lift and it’s been far too long given how simple this is. Also can’t really wheel without them it’s not great for steep roads or raised intersections like sharp driveway angles and not ready for wheeling without them.

I received 2 sets from Quadratec. One set has a stud and cap on it. Not sure what it is supposed to screw into. Looking up into the tube, I can’t really see the female thread. Perhaps it is supposed to bolt into the existing bumps too? Any info- much appreciated. Thx
