I am 100% Ashanti - I understand only two languages- Twi my native and English what our colonial masters instilled on us. But then it feels like the lyrics of this songs speaks to me though I do not understand. From 0:23 to 1:20 I don’t understand anything yet it touches my soul. Listening from 2:21 to 2:50 I always get tears in my eyes. Language barrier can never prevent how deep a song can touch you.
