Chandler was apparently supposed to cheat on Monica for real in Season 5, with a hotel waitress in Vegas, after he and Monica had a heated argument. Luckily, Matthew Perry veteod this, stating that Chandler would never cheat on Monica.

The writers missed an oportunity for Chandler to mess around with his friends here. He actually could have said "oh Nancy and Monica are agree to be my two wives" or some sh...t like that.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought that Ross should have had more of an outraged reaction to thinking that Chandler was cheating on Monica, HIS OWN SISTER. Joey had the reaction you'd expect, when he yelled "You Son of a Bitch!" at Chandler.

if anything, this shows Ross was right. Ross trusted Chandler more than Joey, which proves Ross knew Chandler better than anyone, he didn't jump to conclusions, and you can see he was not convinced. And it turned out, Chandler of course wasn't having an affair. So Ross was really the best friend of Chandler.
