Wenn man ein Ikea Regal ohne Bauanleitung zusammenbauen kann,
dann kann man mit diesem Material auch den Bike Camper zusammenbauen!!!
If you can assemble an Ikea shelf without building instructions,
then you can assemble the bike camper with this material!!!

Telescopic Bike Camper Trailer
Stefan Dauer built a caravan for his bicycle in his workshop in 2014. The aim was to stay overnight in the smallest possible bicycle trailer and also to accommodate his luggage during the tour. The trailer should be as light and steerable as possible. The length of the sleeping cabin is approx. 1.10 metres when pushed together and approx. 2.00 metres when pulled out. The caravan is ready for use in approx. 40 seconds and can be driven again just as quickly.
The bicycle trailer was a prototype and was sold again after completion. There are no plans for the project, as everything was created spontaneously. Originally the thought was to produce the trailer in series production, which was rejected however due to lack of time again.
Currently the trailer is in some private ownership and the probability is high to see it driving around somewhere in Germany.

Like the slide out, but the big gap at the top looks like it would let the rain in and fall right on the crouch area. I do honestly like the design.

Quick note to say thank you for building such an intelligently designed trailer.
It appears to be quite light weight, nimble and offer the rider total protection while they rest.
The telescoping feature of this trailer is true genius, as are the stabilizing legs.
Not unlike the collapsible legs on a drummer's floor tom. Quick to use, simple design and works...every time.

I would worry about water encroachment from the pull out part into the main camper, it looks like there isn't much in the way to prevent that .. It probably needs some kind of cover or at least a flap or something

How much weight can the camper hold once it’s set up ? Also can you show a video of you or anyone of average size 5.5-6.1 actually getting into the camper? Looks like it would not be very easy . Thanks
