The Dude gives an update on his Red Eye Tree Frogs

Hey guys, in this quick highlight I wanted to update you on how my Red Eyed Tree Frogs are doing. I've had this group since the early 2000's and they are healthy, happy, and always laying clutches for us. The poster child of the rain forest, Red Eye Tree Frogs are found all over Central America which include Costa Rica, Panama, and Nicaragua. These delicate tree frogs like a moderate amount of humidity (around 60%) and like a decent amount of air flow in their vivarium. The Dude finds that they love a small water dish with excess thin cork flats/tubes, excess dense foliage, and plenty of vines. I hope you enjoy, let us know if you have any questions.

There is definitely not enough people that show how to properly keep red eyes this in depth. Thank you. This is very similar to how I keep them.

Hi Josh, I got some plants from you last month and I have to say they are growing well. They arrived on time and in good condition. Thank you.

Fantastic set up, you are a pioneer in reptile amphibian husbandry. I have been keeping them for years and never seen you methods. How do you feed your large colony? Do the crickets drown? And what time of day do you feed them, how do you insure that all frogs are eating?

This is a great and informative video...at the same time, I'm often taken aback by the way you talk about yourself and your business... knowing that you keep posters up to send messages to the employees is even more upsetting...maybe I'm totally off-track. Hopefully you are a joy to work with.

He's talking about his frogs development like it's a curriculum at a pree school 😂

Hey Bio Dude! After months of research and YouTube searching. I’ve finally come across this vid with a total aquatic tank bottom. Been looking for resources to do it myself. Think you can do an in depth tutorial soon? Or direct me to some info? Thx!

Thankyou for this video it’s very very informative and is going to help me as well with my tree frog breeding project. You have one of the best videos, I’ve watched many rain chamber videos, your the only one I’ve seen to successful breed them without a rain chamber. I have this same exact padularium cage but it’s not that size. It’s 12x12x18, maybe I need this larger size, I also wasn’t able to figure out how to get the water bottom and set up like this so I left it as a land gratuities with separate tanks for tadpoles and another for a rain chamber.

Hey, I’ll be visiting the store this Saturday. I was wondering if you sold bearded dragons at the shop.

Do you just dump in pinheads and they are able to get to them sufficiently?
