I have inkbird, govee, thermopro and sensorpush, but for WiFi I would recommend inkbird's IBS-TH5, which is cute, smart and accurate, with ink screen and weather display

They look nice, but the typical measurement error of home hygrometers is +/- 5%, which means they can differ by 10% in readings. But that's not the end of the errors. In addition, there are hysteresis errors of +/- 3%, repeatability errors of +/- 2% and the worst of errors, long-term instability of up to +/- 30%. The effect of Chinese sensors. It looks completely different on Swiss sensors like in Pengano.

The problem is you get a hygrometer and it disagrees with the other thing you have telling you humidity. So you look it up and get a 'better' hygrometer and it gives another different reading. I have a humidifier, two cheap temp/humidity meters, a decent hygrometer and a meter made by a company that just makes high quality meters and they're all very different and there's no way to definitively say which one is correct. Add to that they can all drift out of calibration...it's not like I can whip out a mercury thermometer like I can with temperature. How do I know which meter is right?

u can buy 5 thermopro's,
put them all next to each other and they will all display different values, so take the "professional grade sensors" with a grain of salt.

No way. Nothing but trouble with Thermopro. Had 16 of them.
