I would love to just one day sit and have a conversation with you about literally anything. Whenever you touch on heavy topics you either articulate thoughts that I've had and never said aloud, or you say things I've never considered before. I used to consider myself a decent and empathetic person, and I wanted to help others and make the world better, and it feels too often that where I am professionally has caused me to create a shell around my heart, to dampen my vulnerability, and become apathetic just to survive it. So, I definitely understand wanting to go back to that child-like good-naturedness and honesty. Oh, to be wanted so much that you spark a philosophical episode haha. "The only thing I know I want is you." Ha. Haha. No, I'm definitely not crying, I just have something my eye. You're the one crying. Great job once again SBF. Hope your end of the world is treating you kindly :)

I've said this before but I love listening to you get all philosophical. You make really valid points. Especially about our replaceability when it comes to most of our jobs. Damn, at the beginning I came for the romance, now I come for the philosophical thoughts…
(Okay, the romance as well, shush)

Anyways, it’s just reality how replaceable we are in our society, and we can’t do much if we don’t have a ton of money, and that’s why I think it’s better to concentrate on our entourage per say, like, maybe 10’000 people won’t miss you after you die, but that neighbor who you helped when they were moving in, the barista you were going to often and chatted with about anything, or your friends, family, anyone you’re close to, they will.

Even if you disappeared, the mark in they hearts you made won’t leave, and I think that’s what we should make out priorities, not making everyone happy cause it’s impossible, but just to be kind to people that matter, people we have around.

Cause sometimes you just need to care about things you can do and forget in a certain degree things you don’t have the power to change.

That being said, great audio, as always, I noticed the 4th wall break when you said you’re just recording 😁

SBF Words of Wisdom™: The Extended Cut!
The money=opportunity bit was really inspiring! I've never thought of it like that!
Also, it got really deep when it got to the topic of trusting people and finding your own identity. I always try to keep my optimism for that reason. Once I stop, the whole world gets a lot darker.
I like to think about Perrito from Puss in Boots for this topic. He's had the whole world against him, but despite that, he doesn't tear himself down by wallowing in self-pity. He's still willing to be vulnerable and helpful to Puss and Kitty Softpaws, and his dream of being a therapy dog provides useful skills to the team. I'm not necessarily saying that everyone needs to be a Perrito, but honesty and childlike optimism is a rare characteristic in our world, and it's quite sad, because it shows how society has treated most people.
The way the "tangent" wrapped all the way around to the listener was very well-written and clever!

I’m not one much for philosophy (I blame college), but I really like the point that maybe we can be good to others just because we want to be, and not expect anyone and everyone to take advantage of that because maybe they want to be kind too.
