People are purposely misrepresenting Monique's argument. She wasn't complaining about the pay, she was complaining about them wanting her to promote the film outside of her contractual obligations. They wanted her to promote the film overseas for free(excluding the hotels and traveling) and she wanted to be compensated. Not to mention this would've cut into her family time. Monique had every right to decline, it's the principle of the matter.
