We stayed at The Excellence Playa Mujeres for 3 nights in November 2022. We were excited to try an Excellence Resort Property since we had heard so many great things about Excellence Resorts!

Excellence Playa Mujeres is located about 40-50 minutes North of the Cancun Airport. It is in a very private part of the Cancun area. So if you are looking for a resort that is safe but also has all of the amenities you could want, Excellence Playa Mujeres is a great choice! It is definitely not considered a budget friendly resort but it is well worth the cost of what you pay to stay here!

I am glad to hear you say that even couples like their privacy. I have stayed at resorts with with two queen beds and glass bathrooms. I really hate those.

They will gladly warm the rooftop pool every day, all you have to do is ask. We had ours warmed daily while we were at lunch.

Hi! Awesome video. When looking into this resort, my hesitation was the bed canopy cube framing. Does the canopy block your view of the TV on either side of the bed?

Very informative - thank you for showing the different views! Staying there in about a month, in the same room category (I think). Were you in an Excellence Club room?

Also, did you notice any other differences between the two rooms (in building 7 vs building 8, I believe you said) aside from the view and location? Anything different about the room itself/decor/layout/size?

One more question 😊 Have you stayed at other resorts in Playa Mujeres or Costa Mujeres? If so, how did this compare to those?

My wife and I are going to the Excellence Playa Mujeres in December and we are thinking about asking for an room in building 8. My question is did you hear the tractors at 4:45 am in the morning with the balcony doors closed?

With the 2 story room, did you have access to the swim out pools right in front of the building, or did you just have access to the main pool?
