Here we go:

1. To take something seriously= to accept something sincerely
2. On top of= in addition to, usually to show surprise
3. Quite a few= indirect way to say 'a lot'
4. Little to no= an expression to explain a scale, like '1 to 10'
5. To be a roller coaster= an experience with many positives and negatives
6. I'm talking= a casual expression to emphasize a point
7. At all= completely; always used in negative sentences
8. Six figures= a salary of 6 digits $100, 000 or more (not generally used for other digits)
9. To go through something= to have a negative experience
10. To make it= to be successful

Last year was a roller coaster to me I had to pass my exams successfully so I started studying harder and harder, and the harder éd I studied the more tired I felt but there was little to no time to sleep, I'm talking homework, projects, worksheets, essays. On top of that our teachers weren't that nice, but thx God it had passed peacefully.
