I have both. The MauiGreens seem to block a bit more glare, both are incredible.

The stingray in Blue Hawaii is amazing. The eye comfort all day at a bbq was fantastic. Usually I'd have a headache from all day in the sun but my face was able to be so relaxed. Loved them.

Hi i'am thinking in buying a maui jim Makoa with green mirror or a Ho'okipa with Maui Rose or maybe the same models but in Hcl Bronze. I am looking for maximun protection but also maximun and, very very important maximum contrast, clarity and range of vision because i´m going to use them for driving and sports, but specially driving in very changing conditions, from very sunny to cloudy .Wich one of them do you recomend to me? thank you for your help. P.s I´ve got a Makoa in Blue Hawai, PERFECT for the beach but too dark for driving in clody / changing conditions.

The blue Hawaii are not bronze when you look through they, they are GREEN, very green. I am returning the ones I got. It may seem to make things look a little sharper but at the cost of poor color rendition.

I have the blue and grey and the blue are significantly lighter. Why would that be? I love them but don’t understand why they seem so much lighter.
