Streetsboro woman arrested after intentionally trying to crash into officer's car, police say

A 25-year-old Streetsboro woman is in custody after authorities say she intentionally tried to slam her vehicle into a police cruiser on Monday.
According to Streetsboro Police Chief Patricia Wain, the incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. Shelby Bowen, driving a 2014 Ford Fusion, apparently saw an on-duty Streetsboro police officer heading east on State Route 303. Police believe Bowen intentionally cut through side streets to intercept the officer as he moved north on Page Road with the intent of crashing into the police car.
