Will already remember them for reaching the quarter finals of the Champion League in the 09/10 season.

And to think, Bordeaux were Ligue 1 champions 15 years ago with Laurent Blanc managing players like Gourcuff, Chamakh and Plasil. Their last good players from the academy were Kounde, Tchaoumeni and Adli before the pandemic struck and poor running of Bordeaux not only got them relegated twice in 4 years, they're no longer a professional football club. A sad day for French football and this historic club Bordeaux.

My grandparents lived an hour outside of Bordeaux, me and my grandad would make it a thing to go to a game every year. It’s a wonderful city and a terrific club. I’m glad he can’t see what’s happened to this historic club, it’ll always hold a special place in my heart and hope one day it’ll be bought out and make its deserved return to the French football league. Lopez the worst CEO ever. Wherever he has gone clubs have always struggled. Also if FSG didn't buy that means you can understand how much of a mess it was.

The French league itself is struggling so much with selling TV rights. May God save the French league.

French here, it is truly a earthquake in French football, though some insiders saw this coming but fans still believed in Lopez until now...The biggest evil currently in French football is the rising of unskilled or egocentrical chairmen that ruins a club's reputation and finances just because they only care about themselves rather than the clubs or the fans...

This is sad to see, I remember back in fifa 17 or 18 back when Kounde and Malcom were there I did my very first career mode with them after randomly deciding to manage Bordeaux and bring them to the top, had some great games with them and I remember Malcom and Kounde almost always being my starting players. But now seeing them in this situation makes me feel so bad for them
