We use band pass filters for Field Day. Usually 80, 40 and 20. I like that auto setup you're running.

Now I hear you! I am interested in your fabrication and your absolute candor. Feel utterly refreshed by Callum's Reality Outtakes, no messing, just living. I bought my first radio to begin studying for my license. I have started with a Linux based Xiegu 6100 to learn through QRP, to remain portable through a tunable jpc-7, although I have been looking at the jpac-12 for comparison. Next comes building my own... I am not living where any such radio activity is likely successful as I'm in a river valley. Going portable is my only option. Unless I move to Spain, then it becomes my means of staying in touch. Medically the cold of the UK is extremely painful. So my plans are long term. Plenty to do... Plenty of Outtakes too! Looking forward...

A 2nd channel would be awesome ! I can say that CB 11 meters is open from NY to England. in the morning NY time. I worked a few stations. I only got 2 band pass filters . 10 and 20 meter ones. Cheers from NY !
