Klim Kris pro initial review

I have been waiting for months to find a this helmet in my size (Large). I happened to go into my local dealer and they had several in the matte clear, but they are all XL-3XL. So after speaking to the sales associate, she checked with the manager and as they have had these for some time. They dropped the price from near $750 to $500 and added a dark tinted shield to go with the transition shield and the clear one. Then they also added in an aluminum GoPro mount. Klim only makes two shell sized a S-M and L-3XL so it’s just the cheek pads and crown that are different and easily changed. So, I then went directly to the Klim website and ordered the large cheek pads and crown. Which only took a couple days to get and a few minutes to fit, now it’s a perfect fit. I overall saved near $350 with the items the dealer added. So much so, that I returned to the dealer and purchased another one and my ridding friends also picked up a two.
This helmet is amazingly lightweight as compared to my Shoei Hornet x2 and the Fly Trekker. I highly recommend this helmet. I am Not sponsored or supported by Klim in anyway. I will be doing further reviews on this helmet as the miles rack up…

Ride safe!!

I had honestly had never thought about changing the pads to change the size of the helmet completely, but it make sense. I’ve wanted a Kline for a long while now and seems, as you said they are all the XL or 3XL available. You however landed a smoking deal. What shop did you get it at and do they have more??? If so do you know if they sell online??? For that price I would definitely buy one. Glade to see your getting back with it and posting again. Keep it going…
