Battlefield V's SMLE holds a bit of a secret - your character uses the "mad minute" finger to fire rapidly. The weapon detail is inspired by history and a rifle drill.

The battlefield kill sound just injects dopamine directly to my brain. ESPECIALLY when youre rocking a bolt action

Seems the age old tradition of British Longbowmen 'giving the middle finger' didn't die out.

The Lee Enfield had the fastest action of all the bolt-action rifles in WW2. Makes sense they would train their soldiers to take advantage of that

Another unique part of the Lee Enfield patterns is that if you have a steady and firm hold of the weapon and keep it planted well in your shoulder you can keep your eyes aiming down the sights while you work the action as the action is short enough to come no where near your face, this is something that is to my knowledge, unique to the Lee action as on other rifle you have to remove your face from the path of the bolt to avoid whacking your face on the bolt as it moves back

Middle finger not only pulls the trigger, it also pulls the strings of your opponent's patience.

Giving middle finger in 270 meter, what a legends

It was actually 10 shots a minute, soldiers spoke about it in a documentary called “they shall not grow old”

Also, if you get 3 confirmed headshots or kills (not sure, been a while) in a row without missing a shot, your character starts counting and you'll hear a quiet "..three..four.." and so on.

Edit: Wow, 77 Likes, Thanks people! Told my parents right away. 🙋🏻‍♂️

Bro the accuracy of the British is insane, 15 shots on a target 270 meters away within 60 seconds, like just think of that, with a bolt action that most likely had iron sights, that’s mind boggling.

i think the developers really serious on making this game as realistic as possible.

Im ww1, soldiers were given extra pay for having that rate of fire and were given extra ammo upon Request to try and qualify

In ww1, Germans reported on at least 15 occassions being under mg fire but were in fact under rifle fire...the mgs had been lost

Alternatively, just use a Mannlicher M95.

its so nice to be a lefty with a bolt on a bipod, keep your left hand on the stock, and run the bolt with the right

Battlefield 1 is definitely in the top 3 best battlefield game. For me it would be

1. Bad Company 2

2. Battlefield 1

3. Battlefield 3

Oh so fun fact, in WW1, the mad minute was so effective that German units would sometimes report being repulsed by machine gun fire from the British, when in fact, there were no machine guns, but just a bunch of soldiers with SMLEs.

Can we say that it’s so wrong how England doesn’t have the Lee Enfield rifle as it’s ceremonial weapon?

Im left handed so I could do it regularly. My only issue with rifles being left handed, is ejection but I have only gotten hit a couple times. Shells can go anywhere I found out.

Lee Enfield is so good in this game. It can go toe to toe with MP40s and M1 Garands

But when your character holds it like this irl he would beak his fingers
