Ford Thunderbird power window reset

Показать описание
This is a short video of a power window reset for the Ford Thunderbird (2002-2005) 11Gen. When the vehicle loses power or the battery is changed the power windows will not function properly until reset. The power windows must be taught what position is fully closed and what position is fully open before they will function normally. If this reset is not done correctly the power windows will not roll up all the way causing the vehicle to leak when exposed to rain or other elements.

Another satisfied YouTube watcher. Battery dies every winter. Have to recharge it. Window reset becomes the problem. Stealer won’t tell me about this fix. Thank you. You saved me a trip down there.

Driver's window was going down a bit (as expected) after opening the door but wasn't going back up after shutting the door. After opening and closing the door about 5 times, the window was all the way down. This behavior started after I installed my rebuilt FEM. Found your video and followed your procedure. Fixed!! Thanks a bunch for taking the time to post the video!!

Hoping someone could help here: both windows either stay all the way up or remains that 1/4 inch down after calibrating the windows. Short drop glass feature not working at all on either side anymore even after the calibration.
