Arduino Uno R3 Unboxing (Overview)

This is an unboxing and overview of the latest Arduino Uno version R3.

The Arduino Uno is a developement platform made for beginner and enthusiast electronic engineers and hobbyist. There are many different things you can do with this platform and is a great foundation for beginners to get started with electronics, micro processing, and programming.

The Arduino uses a programming language that was based of of the C++ language so it is very easy to learn and understand.

Hello @1HandTech, I want to tell you I found your video on YouTube exactly 10 years ago while pursuing my Engineering Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. It was beneficial because I too brought an Arduino Uno locally available in an electronics market here in Delhi - India. I found your level of expertise and knowledge about microcontrollers and coding very high. Less I knew back then how being specially-abled you still made this YouTube Channel and brought this amazing knowledge to my country.

I made almost 3 working projects namely, automatic dice using LEDs, a Temperature Controller Fan using an LM35 temperature sensor and one was a Lie Detector based on galvanic skin response. I owe you a lot and want to thank you how soever I can because in my country very few people have wisdom with respect to technology. I made all these projects on my own and had no project partner, the Internet was one of the resources I had and then I had your video, Thanks, Man!

Most people in North India are superstitious and do not understand the science of galvanic skin response, even a well-qualified graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree is the same so what better I can expect from someone with less qualification from a Highschool. A few people including my mentor from the college were there to guide me well and they were very happy and proud when I was able to control various sensors using your base code of Arduino IDE for LM35 Temp. Sensor video. Thanks again! Arduino UNO was the best thing back then but now we have Nano and Raspberry Pie as well try your hand on it as well. Nowadays Raspberry microcontroller is very easily available in the Indian market and it is launched in competition to Arduino, though a Raspberry Pie mini-computer is hard to find and it is quite expensive also.

Depends on the kit that you get, some come with them and some do not but it uses the same cable as your printer does.

I bought this as a kit. You can buy just the arduino as a single piece if you want but I would suggest buying gone that has a breadboard and holder. It will just make things easier.

I would go with the Arduino because it is cheap and very versatile. But who knows the AVR might be worth getting. It is really up to you but I love the Arduino.

You can also get bigger kits, that come with motor's, led's, resistors, etc.

Yes but you should use a seperate driver to drive the servo.

My Arduino Uno has leds that is color red for the On and L. Is that normal?

Where are you saying this is from? I can't understand you. Is it "pa woot" or what? Please let me know name of company. I know there is a link, but there is no "Pa- Woot" in the sellers info. I turned up speakers and played over and over and still can't understand you. Thanks.

That is true but you must watch that you do not get ripped off. There are a lot of companies selling knock offs that include a lot of crappy components.
