The nostalgia that I feel in this, is literally so painful. Gosh, I remember lying in bed watching this anime when I would get sick and my parents couldn't take care of me. My best friend Arthur would come in and lay with me and we'd watch it, or well, he'd lay back with me while I slept through it. He would always keep track of what episode I was on. I remember when the anime ended back what seems like forecer ago in my life, and I remember being so distraught not knowing what to watch... I wish that I could just go back to that time, when life was so much easier and Arthur was still by my side. Soutanshi is such a beautiful song, and listening to this part of it, with lyrics, its just so emotional, reminds me of all those death scenes that make you really question everything. The year InuYasha: The Final Act came out was the year that Arthur killed himself...When I watch it, the emotions I feel are so strong knowing that he is still with me... I don't think it is a coincidence me stumbling in on this video. I hope that he's watching over me.

This song is truly beautiful. Whenever I felt lonely, listening to it always gave me hope. Your voice is absolutely beautiful and the lyrics really pull at the heartstrings.

I was going through a really tough time when I visited my family in Pakistan after not seeing them for 4 years only to find out we no longer connect. My sister conspired against me with me cousin and they left me out on purpose, although we all got along really well in the beginning. At this point in time, I felt really horrible because I had no one to talk to. This lullaby was the only thing that let me sleep at night.

Everyone in my family has covid-19, except me so I can't see them for a while. Minutes ago I realized that this means I am going to be all alone on my birthday, as I am not permitted to leave the house or be in the same room with my family. I always celebrated my birthday so this realization was difficult. Even so, my first instinct was to play this song, and to this day, it makes me feel better. I first heard this song 4 years ago, and it consoles me to this day. It means so much to me, thank you.
