Great video. I had forgotten about many of these. Fright Night and Silver Bulket were 2 of my favorites!

This was a great compilation of movies.
It brought me back to the Ma & Pa video stores, before Blockbuster came along, making the Unrated/Uncut versions of some of these difficult to obtain.

Would hardly call Fright Night a b-horror movie. It's a tribute to them for sure but it stars Roddy McDowall and Chris Sarandon, has a soundtrack full of contemporary artists, had the guy from Terminator composing the score and used props that didn't get used from the movie Ghostbusters.

Having seen many of these films as a kid growing up in the 90’s, I can say some of them can be worthy of a rewatch.

I don't think it was mentioned but one underrated movie is "Tales from the Hood", the plantation segmant scared the crap out of me as a kid. It's such a classic movie though, still love it.

The "Killer Clowns from Outerspace" and "Critters" where two of my favorite 1980s "B Movies"!
Honorable Mention would have to go to the movie "Stuff", that was just a Marshmallow Creame substance that devoured the victoms from the inside...

You've overlooked a cult classic: 'Pumpkinhead' 1988. A story of a grieving father who engages a local witch to call up the demon of vengeance to punish the careless young people who killed his son, and gradually learns that there is a horrifying quid pro quo to summoning Pumpkinhead. It was not well-publicized when it was released; pre-release posters showed an evil clown with a jack o'lantern head, which is not at all related to the actual movie, but caused audiences to assume it was just one more campy slasher film, so many of the potential audience gave it a pass. In reality, it's a moody, dark film with very good effects, and less blood than you would expect. It is best watched in pitch blackness, so the sparse uses of color have a greater impact.

I was hoping that you would mention the German film Premutos: Lord Of The Living Dead which was made in 1997. That movie deserves more views! Also-- Hellraiser:Bloodline was made in 1996, not in 1986. 😉

Hell raiser bloodline was in nineteen ninety six. But I don't care if the narrator gets things wrong,
I labsolutely love his voice and his enthusiasm.

I miss the 80s and 90s. We all still had hope back then, and even the movies we watched showed hope for the future. Nowadays, hope is pretty rare, and the movies made today reflect the despair felt by most of us. Oh well

A great video!! As a fan of cheesy “B” movies, 1970s through the 1990s, I now need to update my DVD collections since I’m missing half of these gems!!

Man I miss the days of going to the local movie rental store in town to rent the latest cheesy horror movies that would come out every month on VHS.

All the stuff from Full Moon was great. The Puppet Master movies (especially 1-5) are epic.

I'm Dutch, so cool you mentioned "de lift"!!! Thanks! Please keep in mind the budget in the Netherlands (especially back then!) is VERY low! But It's a great film for people who love B-movies
