Personally, the 1990 IT clown was scarier simply because of how it resembled an everyday clown. It didn't look sinister until it was about to attack you

I love how the 90s one goes from your average clown to child killer in an instant well I do prefer the more scary version of the 2017/2019 version. I would not understand why any kid especially the scene with Georgie go near it in the miniseries it was more believable
