You touched the exact point that I noticed - the eps/rev/guidance surprise does NOT justify the current price. It's relatively minor.
Even for the price before the earnings report.

Adobe does trade at a premium, and it deserves it! After all, it might only grow revenue at 10%, but that revenue is the best kind of revenue there is…

Not all forms of revenues are made equal, there is low margin revenue and high margin revenue, cyclical revenue and recurring revenue.

When you have a business like Adobe that has high margin recurring revenue, that keeps on growing year after year without pause, of course it’s going to be more expensive; that’s just the value of TRUE compounding 😊

I watch your video before earnings and although I agreed that by your standards i.e 15-20% growth needed for a 28 p.e to be justified.

However

I have a few people close to me who work in graph design and they talked me through how their new AI generated image features worked...I also know someone who lost their job of 7 years because of AI being able to custom make graphic advertisement for business...I also know that adobe can't new subscriptions to their balance sheet until a year has passed, their feature as added a year ago...


So I bought 175 shares before opening, with a target of 10% to sell, I sold at +13% in the end. I'll do the same next earnings and will aim for 10%

Would you be willing to make a video on Atkore? They potentially benefit greatly from onshoring and the inflation reduction act investment that's coming down the pipe over the next decade. A relatively small company with a lot of growth potential due to secular tailwinds.
