The mixed-market system we actually have does offer you the choice to take the subway otherwise subways wouldn't exist. Why argue against a theoretical concept, instead of what actually exists?

To play devils advocate, and Im not looking for debate rather conversation:

Aren't the fact that the choice between (IE, Chevy or Toyota)Cars and a Rail, or Bike trail, or choper! hindered by the State for it's envolvment in the overseeing of road constructions, and rail for that matter. In a society where Roadways, railways, skyways, or w/e were left to a market wouldn't it make available the natural or democratic yearnings of the peoples, instead of always building the roadway for it may be cheaper overall in a city if it built (idk, spit balling) a network of trams, and inner bike streets and outskirt roads for trucks and cars...

Aren't we lucky to have Noam Chomsky to judge, ' Markets '? After all, who could be better qualified on this subject, than a Linguistics Professor, who has never even run a burger stand? This makes perfect sense-Right???
UGH-It is a tragedy that anyone actually takes this ridiculous old man seriously! SMH
