Fun fact: Deku isn't their OC. Which doesn't give them the right to change anything about him :) Besides did tje creator of MHA even confirm Deku is Blasian? I didn't think so. People should draw him as he is shown in the anime.

As an Asian who is japanese themselves, you cant just change a characters skin color because it isnt "POC" enough. A majority of Japanese people are light skinned because of genetics and environment. In japan, most are likely to just stay inside which makes them more pale or they're lightskinned because of genetics (same thing with tan). Izuku is a Japanese character that was specifically designed with a certain skin color. If you wanted to make a poc character, you shouldve just made an oc

Edit: I would also like to say the only situation where you can make an edit of the characters' skin is when that character is from a culture of POC but doesn't represent the people properly and instead 'pale or white'. (Targeted towards genshins Natlan characters)
