I don't think you can say with certainty that Hurkacz wouldn't have made the next ball as he didn't reposition himself after the umpire spoke. While I believe that point was going Alcaraz's way, he was fully extended and didn't have a ton of options; Hurkacz has a massive wingspan and a successful block volley down the line would've won him the point. Alcaraz might have snapped that ball a little more had the point not been interrupted, but we'll never know so both players have a right to be pissed about the bad call
