NEVER EVER USE PARACORD AS A TOURNIQUET, EVER, UNLESS IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE ONLY THING AVAILABLE AND SOMEONE IS BLEEDING OUT. It is too thin to be VERY effective and it will destroy the flesh under the cord causing permanent damage. You need a strap that is at the very least 1" wide, 2" is much better.

DO NOT USE PARACORD AS A TOURNIQUET
You need to use something a lot wider because putting that amount of pressure over that small area when using Paracord is going to damage the tissue and possibly cause you too lose that limb, so do NOT use it as a tourniquet, instead use a belt (if wide enough) or the sleeve of a jacket or a t shirt or something that is going to cut off circulation the right amount without damaging tissue
Also, tourniquets are a last resort only to be used if there is heavy blood loss that can’t be stopped using pressure
