There's an interesting Poll done in an article recently published in the Jerusalem Times.

When asked on Israeli intervention in the Syrian Civil-War there's a overwhelming support, just not from the Israelis themselves.

Whether American and European militaries should intervene in Syria: 66.6% of Israelis' voted in favor.

Whether IDF should intervene militarily in Syria, if the U.S. doesn't: 77% of Israelis' are not in favor.

We should be weary of fighting wars for other nations!

What you say is true-But my question about the panel's suggestion is-Saudi Arabia & it's Gulf monarch's are already our allies.This is fact-panel acting like they are not-Saudi's have more at stake losing Syria than US (oil interests are only part for US but all for Saudis).It is Arab Leage-Gulf monarchs-Saudi greater interest to step up-They act like young girls at a dance:"No YOU tell him I like him I'm too shy to say-YOU tell him for me".UAE step up take care of your own business-above board.

This redline statement was not off the cuff-It was said with very pointed intent-and I believe not without an agenda-My true feeling is that I think US & allies-Saudis included-had the intent of triggering a war now rather than later when Iran et.al, may be a more formidable adversary, which it is becoming with each passing year.I do believe the intent is to engage in combat simply before Iran with( Russia's help) may be an unbeatable force.Our decline brings Iran more into position of equality
