The line, "I never wanted to be a mother."
Al's soliloquy on his multi-national existence.
Lionel, defining his boundaries and keeping his relationship to himself. Not secret. Privacy.
Reggie "good guy with a gun"
Harvard sister (Joelle) "this is just a party. You have time to define the rest of it, after the party."

This season was a letdown, because not everything needs to be a musical. Not every tv show can pull this off. I'm a musical theatre major and some of the song placements were a little cringy at times. I get wanting to go out with a bang, but this wasn't the way to go.

As a black person, racism against anyone is unacceptable, glad to see this coming to an end.
The old excuse of "what about what white people did to us during the slavery era" never stood and never will stand. YOU never went through that, the main message that should be spread is dont be prejudice about anyone, appearance is irrelevant, two wrongs never make a right
